Myst
Myst is a woman from Xanth. Her talent is becoming a patch of mist. She was first introduced in Five Portraits as a major character.
Myst was delivered in 1160. She is the adoptive daughter of Merge and Hapless. She was 4 years old when she was brought to the past from the future from 1164 to 1114. She is 8 years old.
Myst was rescued from the future along with Firenze, Santo, Squid, and Win; who she now considers her siblings. She was adopted by Merge, who would be a single parent. Hapless adopted her later. She has curly mouse brown hair and hazel eyes.
Jess and Magnus served in loco parentis while she was with them on Fibot.
She was the host of the day mare Mairzy Doats.
She adopted Noe and Ula into her sibling circle.

If the character is a child, it will be in the description. The child will more than likely be an adult by this time in the Xanth series.
Many species are single gender, so their entries will not mention it. The species are Fury, Muse, basilisk, cenmaid, cenmare, cockatrice, dryad, maenad, sand witch, sandman, and woodwife. Harpies and nymphs are usually female, and fauns are usually male; but there have been a few exceptions that are noted.
