Princess Electra

Princess Electra of Human Xanth is a woman from the West Stockade, the Isle of View, then Castle Roogna in Xanth. Her talent is electricity that can give people jolt. She was first introduced in Heaven Cent.

Electra was delivered in 225. She is the wife of Dolph and mother of Dawn, Eve, and Crescendo. She was 11 years old when she went into an enchanted sleep in 236 and began aging again when she was kissed awake by Dolph in 1083. She is 46 years old.

Electra had the size and form of a child with freckles, even though she is older. She was brought to the Isle of View to charge the Heaven Cent for Tapis. In the main Xanth reality, Murphy placed a curse on Tapis that caused Electra, not Taplin, to bite the apple and to go into the enchanted sleep. When she married Dolph, she was given the title Princess.

In Xanth reality 2, she stayed with Tapis and Merara after Taplin went into her enchanted sleep. Eleph was sent to help her with her chores.

Novels: Heaven Cent, Man from Mundania, Isle of View, Question Quest, The Color of Her Panties, Demons Don't Dream, Geis of the Gargoyle, Roc and a Hard Place, Yon Ill Wind, Faun and Games, Zombie Lover, Xone of Contention, Up in a Heaval, Pet Peeve, Well-Tempered Clavicle, Luck of the Draw, Ghost Writer in the Sky, Jest Right

A Bold Title means she was a major character. A Small Title means she was only mentioned.

Character notes

Human men and women will not have a species in their entries. Also, if the surname of the character is the character's species, it was dropped.

If the character is a child, it will be in the description. The child will more than likely be an adult by this time in the Xanth series.

Many species are single gender, so their entries will not mention it. The species are Fury, Muse, basilisk, cenmaid, cenmare, cockatrice, dryad, maenad, sand witch, sandman, and woodwife. Harpies and nymphs are usually female, and fauns are usually male; but there have been a few exceptions that are noted.

In some instances, I have made educated guesses on gender, species, and some birth years.
