Magician Bink

Magician Bink is a man from the North Village then Castle Roogna in Xanth. His talent is protection from magic. He was first introduced in A Spell for Chameleon as a major character.

Bink was delivered in 1017. He is the son of Bianca and Roland; ex-boyfriend of Sabrina; husband of Chameleon; and father of Dor, Auspice, and Anima. He was 81 years old in 1098 when he took youth elixir and became 21. He is 41 years old.

Bink was banished from Xanth for his apparent lack of talent. When the true nature of his talent became clear, his talent was Magician level. He went on the quest for the source of magic with Humfrey after inadvertently restoring Millie to life. He found the Demon Xanth and freed him causing the Time of No Magic. For freeing Xanth, all of his descendants will be Magicians. He served as King pro tem during the NextWave invasion. In the year 1098 at the age of 81, he took youth elixir and became 21. Tipsy helped him find the dream princes to free himself, Dor, and Dolph from the Isle of Women.

Character notes

Human men and women will not have a species in their entries. Also, if the surname of the character is the character's species, it was dropped.

If the character is a child, it will be in the description. The child will more than likely be an adult by this time in the Xanth series.

Many species are single gender, so their entries will not mention it. The species are Fury, Muse, basilisk, cenmaid, cenmare, cockatrice, dryad, maenad, sand witch, sandman, and woodwife. Harpies and nymphs are usually female, and fauns are usually male; but there have been a few exceptions that are noted.

In some instances, I have made educated guesses on gender, species, and some birth years.
